As part of the Saving Creation – Carbon Net Zero Strategy of the Diocese of Leeds, the Education Team has Toolkit for Schools. The toolkit is a series of resources, released in stages across the year, to help schools take meaningful action to reduce their carbon footprint and move towards the goal of the diocese, to be carbon net zero by 2030. The main part of the toolkit are the Action Sheets, each looking at a ‘big ticket’ area of a school’s environmental impact. Each is packed full of practical ideas for actions that can be taken to make a real difference. In addition to these action sheets, there are collective worship materials, to help schools communicate why Christians should care passionately about addressing climate change and caring for the planet.
